Christmas

The first Sunday in December has to be one of my favourite Sundays of the year. Something about a whole congregation singing Christmas carols together always makes me feel that all is well with the world. I love the simple, pure, joyful truth of Jesus Christ's birth contained in Christmas carols. I am blessed to be able to work with the children each week at church, and I love listening to those sweet, innocent young voices singing beautiful songs about our Saviour.
I hope that we will always be able to make our home a sanctuary from the stress and commercialism which seems to be so rampant during the Christmas season. I would like for our home to be a place where my children will be able to feel the spirit of Christmas and know of the reality of Jesus Christ's miraculous birth.

Also, I think I will announce the winner of my little contest on Monday evening, so if any of you have any more guesses, go ahead and leave a comment! You can have as many guesses as you like :)

These are magical pictures Josephine. The tree looks wonderful and I love the look on Brogan's face.
What gorgeous children you have!

Oh! Outside lights too, that's a first for you isn't it? The tree looks so lovely and the children's adoration of it is clear (I've just noticed those little white tell-tale socks behind the tree.) There is nothing like those first Christmas carols to really start the joys of Christmas entering your heart. Continue to enjoy it, Christmas with children in it is the best thing of all. I was with you this time last year and what a wonderful Christmas that was.

These are beautiful photos. The tree is lovely, I too saw those little feet. Thanks for your sentiments Josephine, Christmas is a wonderful season especially when we do as you say and focus on our Saviour.

Those are beautiful pictures. Thank you. Melodee's children put up our tree about ten days ago. We don't have as little people as you do enjoying the tree though. Give everyone our love. Daddy
