I had thought for a while that it would be fun to take Avery to get her nails done before her surgery, so that she would have pretty toes when her casts came off 
Then, one day a couple of weeks ago, Groupon’s offer was a half price mani/pedi, which was perfect timing! So on Tuesday morning, I took Avery to the salon to get some pampering.
She loved it, and on the way home, she asked me if she could go back some time!
PS, We have discovered this past couple of days that even salon pedicures aren’t designed to withstand swimming pools and crawling!! Oh well, I’ll just have to take her back after her casts come off
